Chinese Ming Dynasty JiaJing Blue and White Cranes Fish Porcelain Lidded Jar. Potted with a vessel shape, ovoid belly, heavy on mid, short neck, round close mouth lip with reverse bowl dome lid finial bud, and raised on flat wide round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of flying cranes over carp swims through water plant on the peace lishui rivers. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines. Made in The Years JiaJing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
