Chinese Ming Dynasty JiaJing Blue and White Figures Porcelain Jar. Potted with a vessel shape, globular belly, heavy on shoulder, short neck, round close mouth lip and raised on flat wide round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of many figures standing on the field bellow dense tree and flowers. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
