Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Dragon Porcelain Jar. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, globular body, wide opening mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color, depicted of flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
