Description
Ancient Egypt, Third Intermediate Period, 21st to 25th Dynasty, ca. 1070 to 664 BCE. A mold-formed faience ushabti figure standing in mummiform atop an integral plinth. The figure holds a pick and hoe in arms crossed atop the chest. The face exhibits bony cheeks, recessed eyes, and a false beard, all framed within a dark-blue tripartite wig. Size: 1.2" W x 3.8" H (3 cm x 9.7 cm); 4.3" H (10.9 cm) on included custom stand.
