Description
Egypt, New Kingdom - Third Intermediate Period, ca. 1300 - 1000 BCE. A white glazed faience Shabti with black/red glazed hair, crook and flail, seed bag upon his back. This was probably manufactured in the expectations that the name of the "owner" would be added along with a simple spell. Size: 4.5" H (11.4 cm)
Provenance: Ex- Private New Jersey collection acquired before 1990
