United States, ca. mid 19th century CE. A nice ensemble of antique photographs - 2 daguerreotypes and 2 ambrotypes - two in leather Union Cases, one in a thermoplastic Union Case, and one without a case. Three feature sitters dressed in their finest and are set in an embossed brass mat with a protective glass cover plate, and a perimeter brass preserver; one image is difficult to decipher and is set with a protective glass cover plate in a decorative brass preserver but without a case. An interesting study group for anyone who appreciates early photography. Size: 3.75" L x 3.25" W (9.5 cm x 8.3 cm)
