Description
A CHINESE YUHUCHUNPING BLUE AND WHITE VASE, TONGZHI STYLE MARK, PROBABLY LATE QING DYNASTY (1644-1912), blue and white glazed porcelain, a trumpet mouth over tapering neck collared with plantain leaves, a band of flaming scrolls, and shaped spears, above a garden encircled by a fence, the landscape sprouting bamboo, lotus pods, and pomegranate fruit, a white lake with floating lily pads, above repeating feathers over lotus blooms, with double encircled foot, verso the base with underglaze blue six character mark. Height: 11" Diameter: 6 1/2"
