Mycenaean ca. 1500 - 1200 B.C..Clay. H. 13.6 cmA globular bodied vessel with a strap handle and vertical cylindrical spout. Decoration consisting of dilute bands of darker orange slip encircling the body. One band of zig-zag. Indistinct figural decoration around the shoulder. Surface somewhat abraded, with areas of chipping on one side. Reassembled from several large fragments.Formerly Coll. Prof. Hans Dahn (1919-2019), Lausanne; acquired 9.9.1952 from Donati (Basel).
