**First Time At Auction**
Pre-Columbian, north coast Peru, Chavin, ca. 900 to 500 BCE; central Peru, Inca Empire, ca. 1200 to 1532 CE. An ensemble of three hand-carved stone beads of petite sizes from two distinct ancient Peruvian cultures. First is an abstract Chavin seated figure with bent legs and a large head. Second is a Chavin kneeling male figure with eyes inlaid with bitumen. Third is an Inca llama head carved from blue sodalite and bearing eyes inlaid with red cinnabar. Size of largest (kneeling male): 0.35" W x 0.6" H (0.9 cm x 1.5 cm)

Condition
All three beads have minor nicks and abrasions, with light fading to red cinnabar inlays in llama head, otherwise intact and very good. Great remains of details throughout.
