China,Qing period
An exceptional hand painted vase with the finest details throughout. The flared rim is trimmed in gold, the traditional ruyi designed is replaced with a stylized beast form, the opposing dragon handles are flanked by a pair of floral cartouches as it sits atop a shoulder with intricate dragon and repeated beast ruyi design. The body is repeated with roundels of a dragon and phoenix bird finished on the bottom within a well detailed border. The bottom with Qing dynasty mark.

Drilled mark to bottom.
