Description
Chinese, Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period mark (1736-1795), likely 20th century. A porcelain Tianqiuping globular form vase decorated allover with cobalt blue underglaze hand painted meandering sweet pea vines with chrysanthemum blossoms, amid these vines flies a five-clawed scaly dragon and a phoenix, the vase foot and mouth with bands of stylized waves. Underside with six character archaic mark for Qianlong imperial reign. Approximate height 21.75", diameter 15.5".
