Chinese, Qing Dynasty Kangxi Period mark (1662-1722), likely later. A cobalt blue glazed Yuhuchunping pear shaped pottery vase, the flaring rim surmounting a constricted neck, bulbous body, and narrow ring foot, the exterior glazed in very dark cobalt blue to black solid glaze with some pooling and gaps near shoulder along horizontal line, and the interior cobalt glaze thinning down neck to reveal underlying pottery. Underside with four character blue underglaze four character mark for Kangxi imperial reign. Approximate height 13.5" x 8.25".
