Cat Musicians, Singer and Cellist.
Antique 19th Century French Musical Automaton.
A pair of white fur-covered glass eye cats, one is with cello, the singing (Meow) cat with eyeglasses is standing on a table with music sheet in paw.
When crank is turned, music starts, heads and paws move including a meow from the singer.
The glass case is enhanced with an interior mirror.
Dimensions:
Removable custom wood trimmed glass case: height: 25 1/2 inches., width: 19 1/4 inches., depth: 14 inches.
Automaton dimensions: height: 19 inches., width: 10 inches., depth: 11.2 inches.
Cats approximate height: 10 inches.
Condition: good original working estate condition, will need a little fine tuning, rarely used.... just admired.
