Description

Large Vellum glaze scenic plaque painted by Fred Rothenbusch in 1920 viewing a tranquil summertime meadow at eventide with tall trees near a meandering stream. The artist’s monogram appears in the lower right hand corner. Impressed marks include the Rookwood logo and date on the back. Normal crazing with a dimple in a tree and another in the sky. Size is 13 3/4 by 11 inches within a 21 3/4 by 18 3/4 inch custom frame.
