Description
Large scenic vellum plaque done by Edward Diers in 1913 upon which he artistically painted a mountainous gorge through which a river runs. The plaque measures 14 1/4 inches in height and 9 inches across. All over crazing. Marks include the Rookwood logo, date and V for Vellum glaze. Mr. Diers signature is on the front left corner. Housed within a newer Arts & Crafts wood frame measuring 20 inches tall and 14 3/4 inches wide. Impressive view.
