Gaton Lamps was established in 1946 by Johnny Gaton. Many of the pieces including asian items, and antiques, in this collection were shown in the lamp store. The store handmade custom lamps and shades for interior designers such as Gump of San Francisco, Barker Brothers of Los Angeles, and Bullock's Wilshire/Los Angeles and Palm Springs.
