ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE CREAMWARE CERAMIC AUTUMN / MAN FIGURE sitting on a molded base and holding a sheaf of grain, decorated in the round with Whieldon-type underglaze polychrome colors, and open-bottomed. Second half 18th century. 4 1/4" HOA.
Mostly undamaged with some wear to top of hat and moderate chip on underside of base. Minor firing flaws, as made.
