ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATES, LOT OF FIVE, comprising a green transfer soup plate and a red/pink transfer 10 3/8" D plate, each having "MILLENIUM" pattern, as printed to underside, featuring a child wrapping a ribbon around a lion's neck with other animals and "Give us this day our daily Bread" printed to bottom, a green transfer plate with "THE DOG AND / THE SHEEP / AESOPS FABLES" pattern, as printed to underside, featuring a group of animals to center, and two red/pink transfer plates featuring a young child praying with "The Sun of Righteousnefs" printed above and "SPEAK LORD FOR THEY SERVANT HEARETH." below. Other marks include impressed "COPELAND & GARRETT / LATE SPODE. Copeland & Garrett, Stoke-on-Trent, England and others. 1833-1847. 7 1/4" to 10 1/2" D.
