Central Asia, Indus Valley, Harappan/Mohenjo-Daro civilization, ca. 2700 to 2000 BCE. A large wheel-thrown pottery vessel with a small protruding footed base, wide shoulders, tall thin walls, and a slightly-flared rim. A painted design of wide zigzag orange stripes separates multiple triangular areas of fish-scale-like/netted motifs and is framed by brown and dark orange striations. Size: 4.625" W x 3.125" H (11.7 cm x 7.9 cm).
