CIVIL WAR ERA BRASS INSIGNIA AND SHOULDER BOARDS, LOT OF 16, including two cavalry crossed sabers hat insignia, three large infantry horn insignia, an artillery crosses cannons insignia, some of which are mounted with wire to a framed display board, and four scaled shoulder boards, the largest one mounted with wire to board and displayed under glass in a shadowbox frame. Probably second half 19th century. Largest insignia 3 5/8" W, shoulder boards approximately 6 1/2" L.
Insignia in good condition overall, most appear unused, mounted shoulder board in good condition with expected minor wear and minor dents, remaining shoulder boards in as-found condition, with expected dents and corrosion, one example in two pieces.
