A ROCOCO REVIVAL ORMOLU MOUNTED POLYCHROME TURTLE TOP CENTER TABLE, MID 20TH CENTURY, in the Venetian taste, the inset, upholstered, serpentine top within a molded brass mounted edge, raised on cabriole legs mounted with Renaissance Revival style lion's head mask mounts, terminating in scrolled ormolu mounted feet, joined by a bombé skirt, with applied relief flower trim, mounted with escutcheons, centering a single drawer, opposed by a faux drawer, the whole in blue and black paint decoration. The upholstered top has some mild stains, tears, and unraveling. Some mild chips to the paint occasionally throughout. Typical surface wear and some patina on the ormolu mounts. Overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
