after JEAN JAQUES PAFRAT (French d. 1793) A LOUIS XVI STYLE ORMOLU MOUNTED MAHOGANY MARBLE TOP BOUILLOTTE TABLE, LATE 19TH CENTURY, the circular, inset, yellow brèche d'alep within a pierced gallery, over a wide skirt trimmed with gilt brass bead liners and moldings, having two opposed drawers interspersed by two opposed pull out slides, each with inset gilt tooled green leather surfaces, joined to blocks with boullework inlaid rectangular lozenges, raised on ormolu mounted turned, tapered fluted legs, each flute mounted with conforming gilt brass ormolu, terminating in gilt brass cups, on ball feet. Some molding has lifted, some tacs loosened, a mild patina and loosening of ormolu, mild surface wear, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
