Estate Collection of 6 Ethnographic Textiles: 1) Unknown; 2) Man's headcloth (commercial thread, natural dyes), circa 1930-50, 68 warps, 18 wefts; 3) Head cloth, Sumba, c. 1920, rare, 76 warps 22 wefts; 4)Woman's sarong, Savu, circa 1940-50, solid indigo bands are obvious handspun & single ply, ikat bands are probably handspun but 2 ply; 5) Textile, handspun, fine quality, natural dyes, 69 warps and 19 wefts; 6) Sumba ladies' sarong, supplementary weft, natural dyes, ca. 1920.
