A hand-carved volcanic stone grinding platform known as a metate, together with a bell-shaped grinding tool called a mano. Size (metate): 13.375" L x 12" W x 7.1" H (34 cm x 30.5 cm x 18 cm); (mano): 5.9" L x 4.4" W x 4.4" H (15 cm x 11.2 cm x 11.2 cm)

Condition
Metate and mano are likely not original to one another but are both ancient and of the period stated. Both with small chips and age-commensurate wear, otherwise intact and very good. Great texture.
