ANDREW JACKSON (1767-1845). Seventh President of the United States (1829–1837), a Politician and Army General who defeated the Creek Indians at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend (1814), and the British at the Battle of New Orleans (1815).
May 22, 1829-Dated, Partially-Printed Document Signed, “Andrew Jackson” as President, 1 page, on Vellum, measuring 15.75” x 9.75”, Choice Very Fine. This Land Grant is signed and dated by Jackson at Washington, filed at Crawfordsville, IN, granting 80 Acres of land to John Caruaguy and Chester Chadwick. Original Paper and Wax Seal is fully intact and in nice condition. President Andrew Jackson’s dark and sharp full signature measures a massive 6” long.
