Description
Group of Three Chinese Blue and White Baluster Vases, late 19th c., with applied foo dog handles, one with dragon decoration; one with a bird and flower; and one with a flower filled urn, Largest- H.- 17 3/8 in., Dia.- 8 1/2 in.
Condition
Each with discoloration to underside and base and with firing flaws throughout. The first depicting a dragon with ½ inch stain to interior. The second depicting birds, discolored at front of neck, 2 inch scratch at back, 1 inch dent under large flower of body, cluster of air bubbles at left branch, discolored cluster and air bubbles at lower left front. The third with cracquelure to glaze, especially at front, 4 inch hairline crack on left of neck, 4 inch and 2 inch “spider web” crack at lower left.
