Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Chancay or Chimu, ca. 900 to 1300 CE. A meticulously woven textile band with a narrower tie, comprised of camelid fibers of rose red, yellow ochre, brown umber, grey, and cream hues, depicting a myriad of abstract geometric motifs, some including anthropomorphic and zoomorphic entities. Mounted on a golden beige linen backing within a white foam core shadow box. Size: ~21.125" L x 20.75" W (53.7 cm x 52.7 cm)

Separation between the wider band and the narrow tie. Some expected fraying, separation of fibers, and loss commensurate with age, but overall a good example with vibrant colors.
