Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A delightful cast bronze pendant in the form of a key, with a ring handle also serving as a wide loop for suspension. The body is stamped with concentric circles, a symbol thought to be a ward against the evil eye in Roman bronzework. Size: 1.4" H (3.6 cm)
