Qing Dynasty Chinese porcelain brush washer, in form of a bell shaped body, heavy on the shoulder with gilt over glazed banded rim, raised on a flat foot base. The exterior delicately decorated with famille rose design hand painting of dragon medallions. Banded with repeating ruyi pattern on the rim and upturning lappets on foot.

Mark on base, six blue script -KaiShu- Characters enclosed within double fine rings, YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing.
