Chinese Ming Dynasty porcelain jar, sturdily potted in a hexagonal lobed petal body, the vertical sides elevated from slightly concaved foot base. The exterior delicately hand painted in blue underglaze with figurines within garden landscape; The flori-form lid decorated with six flower petal cartouches, each enclosing a floral bouquet; crowned with simply bud finial. The rim banded with array of scrolling motif.

Mark on base, six underglazed blue script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within double fine rings, WanLi Reign Period of Great Ming.
