Description
An attractive blue glazed Egyptian faience ushabti, 30th Dynasty, c. 380 - 343 BC, depicted mummiform, wearing tripartite wig with false beard, arms folded across chest, hands holding hoes in each hand, vertical plinth down back and with 8 lines of hieroglyphic text down front and sides of legs. H: 4 3/4 in (12.1 cm). Well preserved with good color and light deposits. Ex collection of Dr. Blair Rogers, acquired in the 1980's.
