A PAIR OF SÈVRES STYLE BRONZE MOUNTED PARCEL GILT COBALT PORCELAIN LIDDED URNS, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the fruiting finials over gilt painted lids on flared rims with bronze mountings over tapered necks decorated with gilt foliate vignettes centering Scottish heraldry, flanked by scrolling acanthus leaf looped bronze handles, over a circular body with vignettes painted with the City of London coat of arms, a knight with a red cape and flanking banner of arms for the City of London, on a lobbed tapered cup, on tapered gilt foliate painted tapered socle ending in a circular bead decorated plinth to a shaped base with laurel leaf relief decoration, with a red "Chateau Paris" and a blue "Sèvres" style mark at base. Some mild gilt and paint wear with rubbing losses, some mild soil noted to the white areas, and one loop of the handles is now lacking but present, otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
