Paris Mint, Bronze, 68mm. Olive patina. Unlisted in the Collection Générale today. Marseilles National Colonial Exposition Medal, 1922. Arab North African, Indochinese, Black African soldiers, Cambodian dancer and 7-headed cobra, landmarks, POUR LA PLUS GRAND FRANCE. Rev Marseilles skyline, awarded to JOSE SILBERT. Red-tan, struck by Janvier Duval. 2 pieces. Use of colonial soldiers exacerbated German racial thinking including that of a young Corporal, Adolf Hitler.
