Description
A letter on White House stationery, dated December 23, 1963, which is addressed to "Mr. Edward E Grusd, Editor, The National Jewish Monthly... Washington, D.C." In the letter, President Johnson expressed his appreciation for a note that was sent to him during the "days of transition." Signed in black ink: "Lyndon B. Johnson." Good condition. Paper is yellowed and has a slight stain on the lower left corner. Small tear along crease from folding at left edge. 9 x 7".
