Pre-Columbian, Peru, north-coast, Ca 800 to 1000 CE. Lambayeque/ Sican pottery blackware bridge-spouted jar depicting face of the underworld deity Nylamp, with spout emerging from the top of his head. On the strap handle two humans are shown prone confronting each other. Nice example! Size: 6-1/4" W x 6" H. **Back at auction due to non-paying bidder**
