John Fitzgerald Kennedy official inaugural bronze medal bearing the profile of John F. Kennedy on the front and the Presidential seal with the inauguration dates on the reverse. John F. Kennedy inaugural bronze medals were struck by the Medallic Art Co. of New York City in 1961. The encasing is 2 x 2''. At the commencement of his presidency, one of the gifts John F. Kennedy gave to special friends and associates was this official inaugural medal in bronze designed by Paul Manship, whose first inaugural medal was created for Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1933.

President John F. Kennedy appreciation coin with high raised frontal portrait of JFK on the front. The reverse of the coin displays the presidential seal and is adorned on top with embossed words "With Appreciation" and inscribed on the bottom with the signature of John F. Kennedy. These medals were designed by Frank Gasporro and struck by the US Mint in Philadelphia in 1962 for JFK's personal use. Three hundred of these medals were created while President Kennedy was in the White House and carry with them the distinction of being often handed out by President Kennedy himself.
