Jacqueline Kennedy's handwritten notes on 8 x 5'' White House note paper. The upper half of the note is headed with the underlined word "Diary." Notes display some age toning and markings.

The notes are both personal and somewhat undecipherable as they are written in Jacqueline Kennedy's own shorthand. The first note reads " 3 times J cry-Hosp-Cuba-Patrick." In this note J stands for "Jack" and relates to not only the death of their last born child Patrick in August of 1963 but to the rising tensions that were surfacing in Cuba.

The last note on the paper begins with "J--M L King." Presumably this note is in relation to the historic March on Washington which took place August 28, 1963.
