Description
Pair of historic U.S. Presidential thank you letters on White House stationery. Dated May 9, 1958, signed by President and Mrs. Dwight D. Eisenhower, and addressed to actor Sally Ann Howes in appreciation for her White House performance of music from "My Fair Lady." Presented under glass in a gilt frame. Each letter measures approximately 9" x 6.5" (the president's stationery being slightly larger). From the estate of Sally Ann Howes (1930-2021), Tony Award nominated actor and star of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
