Description

British, 19th century. A group of twelve historical blue transferware pieces, including: 


one lidded tureen by William Adams & Sons (c. 1804-1840), impressed with eagle mark to underside; ht. 11.25, wd. 15. dp. 9 in.; 


three Enoch Wood & Sons pieces, including one creamer with "Horse Drawn Sleigh" pattern, one teapot with harbor scene, and one shallow bowl with village scene, each marked on underside; teapot ht. 8.25, wd. 12, dp. 5.5 in.; 


three Ralph Hall (c. 1830s) scene pieces, including two plates with "Llanarth Court" pattern, and one bowl with "Klosterneuburg" pattern, each marked on underside; each dia. 10 in.;


one plate by J. & R. Riley in the "Marine" pattern; dia. 10, ht. 1 in.;


one lidded sugar box with falcon design, marked Stone China on underside; ht. 5.5, wd. 6.75, dp. 4.25 in.;


one lidded sugar box and one matching creamer with floral design, each unmarked; sugar ht. 6.25, 7.75, dp. 5 in.; 


and one scene bowl of a family walking with a mule, unmarked; dia. 10, dp. 2 in.;


plus, three flow blue plates, including one by J. & G. Alcock marked "Scinde", one by F. M. & Co. marked "Cashmere", and one marked "Sobraon"; J &G (largest) dia. 10.5, ht. 1.75 in.

Condition
Tureen has crack to side and chips. "Falcon" sugar has chips to edges, one corner of lid has been repaired, and 1/4 in. hole to lid. Floral sugar has crack to one corner and some chips, and floral creamer has repair to handle. Teapot has several cracks emanating from bottom edge. Ralph Hall plates have standard wear/scratches and a few chips to edges. Family and mule bowl has crazing. All other pieces have standard scratching and wear consistent with age and use.
