Description

England, 1st half 19th century. Four plates. "America and Independence" with states border, impressed "Clews...", 9"d., "City of Albany..." with shell grotto border impressed "Wood & Son...", 10"d., "City Hall New York, Beauties of America, J&W Ridgway". 9.75"d., and a light blue soup plate "The Residence of Richard Jordan, New Jersey". 10.25"d. Together with Washington's Tomb sugar. Flakes, missing lid, 4.75"h., "State House, Boston, Beauties of America, J&W Ridgway" creamer, and two cups, one with Catskill Mountain House, hairline. Varying stains, overall minor wear.

Condition

Catskill cup has two vertical hairlines, 1.25”l. and fainter 1”l. on opposite sides. Other cup is stained, City Hall plate has dark stain, Albany has edge wear and knife scratches, Jordan plate has minor edge wear, creamer in overall good condition with a few light stains, sugar is stained, has a 2” - 3” hairline around the body, chip on one corner of body and rim flakes.
