Pair of Large Chinese Ming Blue and white porcelain plat pots. Sturdily potted in a deep vessel body, with broad wide cavetto everted the steep rounded sides, bulbous on shoulder, tappered gently toward flat dan banded rim, raised upon a flat base. The exterior decorated with hand painting in variegate tone and shades purplish-blue underglazed enormous dragons flying amidst flames and clouds above cressting LiShui wavy water and rocky mountain. Its rim banded with of scrolling pattern. The underside left unglazed, with orange-brownish base and darker firing spots.


Mark on shoulder, a six blue script -KaiShu- Characters reign mark, enclosed by rectangular frame, Xuande Reign Period of Great Ming.
