STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED AMERICAN HISTORICAL CERAMIC TEABOWL AND SAUCER SETS, LOT OF TWO, having dark blue transfer design titled "La Fayette at Franklin's Tomb" with a seated figure representing the Marquis de Lafayette beside a tomb, the base of the plaque reading "FRANKLIN", nautical scene in the background and floral surround. Saucers impressed "E. WOOD & SONS BURSLEM / SEMI CHINA / WARRANTED" with additional "M" on base of one teabowl. Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, Staffordshire, England. 1825-1830. Teabowls approximately 2 1/2" H.
