STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN HISTORICAL TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC JUG / PITCHER, each side having a portrait medallion featuring the Marquis de La Fayette encircled with "WELCOME LA FAYETTE THE NATIONS GUEST AND OUR COUNTRY'S GLORY" and bold floral designs. Unmarked. Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England. 1814-1834. 6 5/8" HOA.
Undamaged with some expected wear to rim, spout, and handle.
