STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED AMERICAN HISTORICAL CERAMIC PITCHER, having scalloped rim, molded handle, and flared foot, with dark blue transfer design titled "La Fayette at Franklin's Tomb" with a seated figure representing the Marquis de Lafayette beside a tomb, the base of the plaque reading "FRANKLIN", nautical scene in the background and floral surround. Unmarked. Likely Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, Staffordshire, England. 1825-1830. 6 3/4" H.
