STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED AMERICAN VIEW CERAMIC CUP PLATE, having dark blue transfer design of "The Woodlands", with a couple in the foreground and the house with trees in the background; partial spread eagle border design. Impressed star design on base, otherwise unmarked. Likely Joseph Stubbs, Longport, Staffordshire, England. Circa 1830. 3 1/4" D.
Very minute flake on underside of rim, otherwise undamaged.
