A Chinese red and green porcelain bowl. Possibly Jin dynasty. Light yellow glaze, decorated with red and green enamel painted with floral pattern and the "double-Xi" character for marriage. 2"h x 6"diam.
Provenance: From the collection of diplomat T. Kobayashi, acquired in Tokyo in 1960s.
Condition: Wear and stains consistent with age and use. Old repair on the rim.
