Description
A Chinese blue and red flambe-glazed (Yaobian glaze) vase. c.18th century. Guaner Zun form. Dark red mixed with blue, purple and moon white glaze. No mark on the bottom. 9"h x 5 3/4"w x 4 1/4"d.
Provenance: From the collection of diplomat T. Kobayashi, acquired in Tokyo in 1960s.
Condition: Having small glaze cracks and spots from firing.
