Description
A thinly hand thrown deep bell-shaped porcelain bowl with a very soft, thick, off white base glaze that has a shiny appearance. The bowl is decorated in alternating brocade, fabric designs using iron red, green, and gold enamels. Black has been used to accent the designs. Underglaze cobalt has been used for a ring at the mouth and a border above the foot. The foot is tall with an unglazed edge. The foot is old, you can feel the softness from movement on a surface.
