FRANCIS KINLOCH
(1755 - 1826) Continental Congressman from South Carolina and Revolutionary War officer, on the staffs of Huger and Moultrie, wounded at Savannah. Voted for ratification. Fine association A.L.S., 1p. large 4to., [n.p.], July 12 [n.y., ca. 1798]. In part: "...[I] believe the information you have received with respect to Major {Isaac] Huger's affairs to be correct - the sum set aside for the maintenance of his widow by the Court of Chancery is in safe hands...subject to the demands of his creditors at her death..." Very good.
