ENOLA GAY: Multiple signed 8 x 10 photograph by four crew members of the Enola Gay individually, comprising Paul W. Tibbets (1915-2007, American Brigadier General, pilot of the Enola Gay), Thomas W. Ferebee (1918-2000, American Colonel, bombardier of the Enola Gay), Theodore Van Kirk (1921-2014, American Major, navigator of the Enola Gay) and Richard Nelson (1927-2003, American Private First Class, radio operator of the Enola Gay), the historic image depicting the mushroom cloud over Hiroshima following the dropping of the Little Boy atomic bomb by the B-29 bomber Enola Gay on 6th August 1945 during the final stages of World War II. Signed by each in blue inks to clear areas of the image, Tibbets adding 'Pilot' in his hand beside his signature, Van Kirk adding 'Navigator' in his hand beneath his signature, Ferebee adding 'Bombardier' in his hand beneath his signature and Dick Nelson adding 'Radio' in his hand beneath his signature.
